XPanding

It’s that time again when rooms around the country start shaking to the sound of bass and drops!
Sorry it’s been so long; very busy of late.

A couple of classics in here, starting with a remix of ‘I Want You (Forever)’, an oldskool big-one.
‘Plastic Dreams’ remixed by Carl Cox continues the mix moving into my all time favourite Sasha track; ‘XPander’ this time remixed by Funkagenda.
Ending the mix is another favourite by Underworld; ‘Dark and Long (Big Train)’, remixed to bring it bang up to date and ever-more stomping.

Special thanks have to go to Chris Hovey for supplying track 3 with his awesome, steam-rolling ‘DarkShit’ (Remixed by Tony Thomas).

As always the tracks are labelled with chapter markers so you can scan what tracks they are, and all are available from Beatport - of course.

Hope you all enjoy, until the next time Happy

Three Halves

Hello again!

Returning to the decks this month for a mixed bag, starting off with some house for that Summer/IBZ vibe, going into a little techno then finishing off with some progressive. Hence; Three Halves. My little birthday present to you all.

Enjoy.

Stereo, Wonderful!

Feeling Thunder NOW IN STEREO!

Hello again, I have remixed the Feeling Thunder podcast originally released back in September. As you may or may not realise it was recorded in mono! Believe me, I was not amused! So I have gone back and remixed the tracks for the 21st Century. Tracklist is the same as before. Try and enjoy a little more this time.

Adios

Super Four Man

Podcast No. 25 and still going strong.

Finally it’s here - I have in my rather small studio, a Kontrol S4. This baby is the dogs’ danglies, and I have created a new mix just for you fresh off the Traktor.
There are lots of Faithless tracks in here, making it a bit more commercial than usual, but I hope you agree they are blooming brilliant. Also check out the Moguai track near the end.

Hope you enjoy, and I must apologise for the last podcast that was recorded in mono! Really don’t know how I missed that one!

Laters.

Feeling Thunder

Podcast No. 24! Starting with a remix of Prodigy's ‘Thunder’ which is awesome.
Plenty of techno in here, after a recent session with DJ Matt Cox I too am loving the techno at the moment. The last track, my favourite this month and featured in the Fiat Punto ad is by Faithless, can’t believe they are still pulling little gems out of the studio for us all. Enjoy.

Tracked

Tracked!

Finally, after three attempts, I have created a podcast for you all to enjoy! Using Traktor for the first time, I can honestly say its superb! Only really missing the ability to spin out tracks, but thats it. Everything else about it is awesome - no wonder everyone is using it now.

Hope you enjoy. I have put a classic on the end of this podcast, as it never dies no matter how much you hear it!

Bit the Bullet

Hello all, hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine...

I’ve finally bit the bullet and sold my CDJs to make way for the digital DJ revolution. Most people I know have already gone down this route, so I must follow and step aside for technology advances. So the next podcast will be (hopefully) mixed totally digitally from the wonders of Traktor.

Lets hope it’s as good as everyone makes out.

So ‘Modern Output’ is the last ‘analogue’ podcast and mix I will ever do. Enjoy while it lasts.

Modern Output

The weekend has landed and so has a new podcast. This months sees a different mix, with some electro in there, but mainly progressive. I hope you all enjoy as usual. Make sure to keep cool whilst listening to this in the lovely hot weather we are having!

Articulate Object

Hello again, its that time of the year where I broadcast another instalment from the ‘studios’.
This podcast is probably a bit trancy for some, but I can’t help my roots Winking

I have put on the brilliant re-release from Luminary - My World. This was out way back in 2005, but it’s such a wonderful track I had to include it. Hope you all enjoy the mixing; very tight this month!
